The Baltimore County Savings Bank Foundation recently pledged $80,000 to kick off the campaign to build a new creative playground south of the Perry Hall library. You can read the press release here.
This is a terrific announcement. Our office worked with the Foundation on this pledge, and I am extremely grateful that this organization has once again given funding for an important local project.
During tough times, those of us in public office must turn to the private sector to sometimes get things done. Our office helped raise private funding to restore the Perry Hall Mansion and build a new dog park, and we are supporting the construction of a new park along the Loch Raven Boulevard corridor that involves no government funding at all.
Once again, my personal thanks to the Baltimore County Savings Bank Foundation for this wonderful pledge.
