Our office has received word that the long-awaited resurfacing of Chapel Road in Perry Hall will occur in August. The project will improve the stretch of Chapel Road from Cross to Belair Roads. The southern part of the corridor was completed in 2013.
The resurfacing will be done during weekdays and last between two and three weeks. Residents should plan their travel accordingly during this time.
Despite the near-elimination of road resurfacing money from the state, Baltimore County has still found the resources to fund important road projects in communities like Perry Hall. Since 2010, we have resurfaced Bangert Avenue, and Forge, Hines, and East Joppa Roads. I am pleased we will finally improve Chapel Road, an important north-south connection in Perry Hall.
