It was an honor to join the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company at the dedication of the newly-renovated and expanded fire station on Saturday.

As I mentioned in my remarks, a fire station is usually the center of community life in an American small town.  Kingsville is no exception.  Since 1954, the Kingsville fire station has not only provided critical rescue services for the communities of northeastern Baltimore County, but it has also been the core of the Kingsville community.

I would like to thank the members of the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company for their continued service to the community, as well as the citizens, businesses, and local and state officials who supported the more than $4 million in improvements at this station.
