I am delighted by the news that Marty Azola and Delbert Adams will be partnering on a plan to adaptively reuse the Bosley Mansion. This development team commands enormous respect within the historic preservation community.
As I noted last May, the Presbyterian Home of Maryland has been a good steward of this historic property, and I hoped it would be sold to an entity that values the character of western Towson. That has happened. I would like to thank the Presbyterian Home of Maryland for keeping my office and the community constantly updated throughout this process. The discussions have taken over a year, but I believe we have a path forward that will result in the preservation of one of the most distinctive structures in Towson.
I look forward to work with all parties as we move forward. Let’s make this a showpiece for Baltimore County.
