I am delighted by the news that Perry Hall High School’s artificial turf field is set for an 
installation later this year. This project will greatly enhance sports at Perry Hall High School, which has a proud tradition of athletics in Baltimore County.
During tight economic times, governments need to partner with parents and other advocates to advance these project. Since we kicked off the campaign for this field, the athletic booster club has raised tens of thousands of dollars in private donations. I thank all those who worked to make this happen.
Since 2010, three artificial turf fields have been built in the Fifth District.
