I am very pleased that Baltimore County Executive Olszewski has agreed to partner with 
me on a pilot program to examine the effectiveness of digital speed signs.
Under the program, seven sites will be selected, one in each Councilmanic district. The signs will not result in fines for motorists, but alert them of their speed.
These signs will be particularly valuable on corridors such as Regester Avenue and Stevenson Lane where traffic calming cannot be easily erected. I look forward to the pilot program and hopefully an expansion of this initiative.
