I’m announcing today the creation of a task force to recommend uses at the new 22-acre park 
property on Gerst Road formerly known as the Bierman Farm.
The task force will be led by Greg Heitner, the Fifth District representative to and chair of the Baltimore County Board of Recreation and Parks. Mr. Heitner lives in the community adjacent to the park property.
The purpose of this task force is to help provide recommendations as the county explores future uses for this property, the fifth new park in Perry Hall since 2010. I have personally said that my preference is for very little construction so this remains a quiet, largely-wild area that provides peace of mind for residents.
