Friday’s announcement that Baltimore County will purchase part of the Radebaugh property is terrific news for the Towson community. Our office had been working with the County Executive’s office on this project for several months.
Once the property is “greened,” it will provide a pocket park in a densely-populated part of eastern Towson. Depending on its future use, families from Burkleigh Square, Towson Manor Village, and Aigburth Manor could gather here for picnics. Sports teams might practice here, or maybe people will just come to the Radebaugh property for peace of mind.
With this announcement, seven parks are finished or under development in our County Council district. These include Angel, Gough, and Soukup Parks in Perry Hall; the Perry Paw Dog Park; Ridgely Manor Park in the Loch Raven area; and Patriot Plaza in Downtown Towson.
